I Am a Robot!

So my youngest son, Griffin, will be turning four in October and I need to get started on his party decor. My little man loves robots and walking around the house saying "I am a robot" in his funny little voice. So for his preschool class, I am going to make little goody bags filled with bubbles, an eraser, and a box of raisins. So I came up with this for the bag toppers:

Watch for more decor as his Birthday draws closer!!!

BOO!

Well I am back.....at least for awhile. I started my third semester of nursing school yesterday and it is gearing up to be a very busy semester!

Alex is all settled in Arizona and started his first day at the new job on Monday! He is really enjoying his new position and is looking forward to his future with the company.

Both of the boys also started school and are slowly adjusting to life without Daddy around everyday. We are truly grateful for SKYPE!

So with that said, here is a fun little project I did for Halloween. The pieces are 5 x 7 and will go very nicely in a 3 hole frame! Can't wait to display it!

BIG BIG NEWS!!

Hello Everyone

I hope everyone is having a great week. Alex and I have been anxiously waiting to share some big news with everyone. Alex was offered, and accepted, an instructor position at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in PHOENIX, AZ!!!!

Alex has been wanting a position ever since he graduated from there 5 years ago. We are so excited, nervous, stressed, elated, and down right happy about this opportunity! Most of you know that we currently live in California and that I am in the middle of nursing school. The plan is for Alex to move to Phoenix and for me and the boys to stay here and have me finish my third semester of nursing school and then transfer to a college in Phoenix. I will then finish my fourth and final semester in Phoenix and still graduate in May 2012!

Alex's first day of work is August 29th and so it is going to be a very busy couple of weeks preparing for the move. It will be a long 3 months of separation, but with frequent trips to California and the extensive use of Skype, we will manage.

So please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we undergo this next step in our lives.

God Bless
Danielle

Cute Ladybug Card

I'm BACK! Our family had a great vacation in Flagstaff, AZ......where the weather and the fishing were good to us!

Vacation is always nice but all of us Mom's know how much work it is too. I'm glad to say that we are finally back in our routine and getting ready for school to start for the boys and for me too!

I absolutely loved this ladybug cut and wanted to try to make a card that wasn't the traditional shape. I thought a little glitter wouldn't hurt either....hehe!  And so here is what I came up with.......

Just an Update

I just wanted to post a little update on what's happening in our lives. I have been very busy with my creations and happy to announce that I have now gotten my second custom order on ETSY. I am truly enjoying the process and can't wait to see what the future holds for me in this area.

Our family will be going on a much needed vacation for 8 days!! We usually go camping and get away from civilization, but this year we decided to go to Flagstaff, AZ where my parents live. The weather is perfect and we have many great adventures planned.

So I will be unable to post any new ramblings for awhile. But be assured that when I get back there will be many more to post.....including the finished custom recipe book that I have started on.

So everyone stay safe and stay cool!

Thanks!
