 For a Birthday Boy!

Recipe Books

I have been so busy with nursing school finals one week away, that I haven't had the time to post! I have however been using my "down" time making lots of neat stuff.

I have made a couple of these recipe books with hopes of selling them on Esty.....we will see if that works out!

 Here's the other one!!

Thanks for looking, have a great Saturday!

The Birds and the Bees

I just loved these images on the "Live Simply" Cricut Cartridge and decided to make these cards. The paper is from Die Cuts With a View (DCWV).

Enjoy......Thanks for looking!
Have a blessed Saturday.

Baby Kylee

I made this scrapbook page for my cousins who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby girl, Kylee! Her nursery colors are shades of purple and her theme is butterflies....so here's what I came up with. I actually had a difficult time with this one, not sure why, but I think it actually came out pretty cute!

Thanks for looking!

A New Adventure

As if I don't have enough going on, I have decided to start selling my homemade cards/scrapbook pages at local art and craft shows in and around Los Angeles, CA. My fist show will be in early July. This should give me plenty of time to get a good amount of inventory done....said with a chuckle! I hope to have about 120 cards, 50 scrapbook pages, and a few other goodies done for July.

I have no idea how this new adventure will turn out, but I am super excited to learn and find out! Wish me luck!!!

Here's a few cards for the batch:

Feeling Girly

Since I have been blessed with two beautiful boys, I rarely get to make anything too girly. I have all this fabulous paper, but no reason to use it. So I have gone a little crazy with pink and flowers and everything else that screams GIRL!

I also made this super cute tiny bag. By tiny I mean the bag is only 3in x 3in ( about the size of a coffee mug) with four adorable cards inside. This would make a great gift, or the bag alone could make a party favor holder......just thinking out loud!

Toy Story 3

I absolutely love how this layout turned out! We went to see Toy Story 3 last July at the one and only El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA. We were trying to think of a way to get our minds off my little ones upcoming surgery, and this totally did the trick.

I was so glad to be able to get a couple good shots with their funny 3-D glasses on because within minutes, they were gone!

Thanks for stopping by!

New Technique

Hi Everyone! I was rummaging through my closet and saw my lonely sewing machine and decided to take it out and see if I could still figure out how to make it work. After some fussing, I did! I have seen some really great card designs that used stitching and decided to try it out.

I love the patchwork look to this card, and think it came out pretty good for my first try. Enjoy!

"All Boy" Scrapbook Pages

So like every mother, I am way behind on cataloging my kids photos. I mean between nursing school and the other million "jobs" that come along with being a wife and mother, its hard to sometimes find the time. Although I love the ease of Digital Photos, its difficult to remember to print out the pictures, and they do no good sitting on my desktop!

So my new goal is two fold: Print at least 100 photos each month and make at least 2 scrapbook pages a week! We will see how I do, but here are the two pages I made this week.
P.S. They are not quite finished, i will be adding journaling to the finished project.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to leave a comment!

Getting Started

Well, this is the first post! I am so excited to start a new project and share my craziness with you all!

I received a Cricut Expression Machine for Mother's Day, and have been crafting nonstop since then. I thought it would be nice to share some of the designs! More to come!
